"Home-Team" Help the Homeless Initiative

teacHER Love is preparing for our 2nd Annual Homeless Initiative. People experiencing homelessness have lost the protection of a home and their community. They are often marginalized and isolated within the larger society. Helping people experiencing homelessness overcome these beliefs is key to recovery, social inclusion, and offers opportunities to re-engage with and form positive relationships. Let’s not dehumanize or personalize the phrase homeless, instead let’s create a way to end it! Furthermore, we are creating opportunities for students to participate in community service projects while earning their service hours toward graduation requirements.
